Aphrodite and Artemis were both Greek Goddesses. Aphrodite was the Goddess of Love and Beauty, and Artemis was the Goddess of the Hunt. Being a women in contemporary US society is a balancing act. How is that we can remain passionate, feminine, and loving, but keep up with the boys? I ask myself if my feminine nature is a disadvantage when attempting to navigate today’s business world. After thoroughly considering this question, my reply is “no.” Why? Because as women, we also have another side, and this side is reflected by Artemis. We are lovers, but also fighters. We are feminine, but not stupid. Perhaps we face unique challenges, but we are also at an advantage because we have the emotional intelligence to deal with the obstacles that will not stop us.

Don't use words too big for the subject. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. C. S. Lewis
I am my own deliverable, and as such, I must present myself with the same confidence that I would present an idea to a client. This means reinterpretting my weaknesses into opportunities, and identifying unique ways in which I can demonstrate my invaluable, but non-traditional skill set. - Me (rather egocentric I know, but I thought it was clever)
I think men are afraid to be with a successful woman, because we are terribly strong, we know what we want and we are not fragile enought - Shirley Bassey
